2009 to 2015 Bang and Olufsen Q7 ampplifier

We have been specialising in servicing these units since 2012. We are confident in repairing nearly all  damaged units.  Once repairs have been completed we cover sensitive areas with hot plastic which provides a water shield to further protect the electronics.

Common issues are ;

• Crackling on speakers
• Battery drain
• No MMI
• Mute symbol only
• No door speakers
• No sound definition
• One or more channels missing

After repair all units are bench tested using an Audi MOST fibre test system , this ensures all functions and outputs are calibrated – software updated if required or requested . Repair comes with a 12 Month Full Warranty. With this repair service recoding to the vehicle is NOT usually necessary – occasionally coding may be lost if there has been extensive damage or careless use of diagnostic equipment has occurred.

Re-coding can only be achieved with the unit installed in the vehicle and by the correct diagnostic tools ( ODIS or VAS ) – VCDS is NOT capable of removing component protection ( Coding ) –  Also, this is not a function we can do remotely.
